Roby and Witts depart the Freiden and go their separate ways back to their homelands. Roby goes back and visits all of his old girlfriends, saying “it’s an afterservice…I want to make sure everyone’s alright.” Uh-huh. Sure. Witts visits the grave of his father and little brother and meets up with his younger twin sisters. He then sees the rest of his family, but something weird apparently has happened. His mom then finds his bag full of gold, and puts a worried face. Roby visits another girl, and then he says he’s going for the real one. Back at Witts’ place, he notices the changes that have happened during the two years he’s departed. His little brother then tells all about his new stepfather. His mom then tries to turn the tables on him, blaming him for being a mobile suit pilot to make all the money. After a swift slap to the face, Witts departs into the night, and goes to a bar. Meanwhile, Roby heads on to a girl’s house. Back at the bar, Witts has a conversation with the bartender, who turns out to be the new stepfather. After realizing that lying to each other was wrong, some bad Vultures attack. Roby finds the girl, but unfortunately she is dead. He puts the flower and champagne on her grave, saying, “it’s a bad joke.” Witts grabs Airmaster and fights the vultures. Roby then recounts the history on how he got his Gundam while pouring the champagne onto her grave. Witts defeats the vultures. After, he drops his family the gold and departs back to the crossroads to meet Roby, who is already there. They resume their talk about heaven and hell, and head back towards the Freiden.
